Please help...I have some open track days coming up and need help desiding on tires. No money for extra rims and tires, so whatever I get will need to pull double duty with daily driving and track time (road course). I what a lot but I need to keep up with my brother in law who has track tires but less horse power.

Currently I have Kumo's on the car now at just above the wear bars.

A- Do I leave them on.
B- Buy new tires for the upcoimg 6 track days. We run rain or shine. Suggesting?

Leave them on...Run the piss out of them, then get new tires! However, keep on eye on the weather station:D

OK so I went to the track and the street tire were just on good enough. There was a tire truck on site....so $900+ laster and I was running with sticky rubber. Car was much, much improved over last year (6 sec per lap) but the car still pushes a lot even with track rubber.

ps - I will be buying new rims and tires soon. Going with Nitto 555's and rims...? Not sure. 17x9 something.
