That's funny; I was thinking the same thing. All that drilling, cutting and hammering is for the birds.:rotf:

I'm using their tool to get the bushings out of the rear end on Casper. Worked like a charm....now getting the old bushing out was the time consuming part. I'm in the process of putting the new ones in today and putting on the new upper control arms...hopefully I can order some '04 Cobra front lower control arms as well.

and you want pics of what?? the bits and pieces of the control arm bushing that I had to tear into with drill bits and filing drums(took about 2 hours for ONE bushing)...OR....a pic of my car on jackstands....OR....the old front sway bar bushings that I could squeeze like a grape in my hands....OR....the car as a whole once I put the suspension back together.

Excellent

My heart bleeds for you on the bushings. You know I did the money route, installed new MM lower control arms all the way around with delrin bushings in the front and 3-piece urethane bushing, Teflon-lined spherical bearing rod ends at the rear.

before and after mods....

before and after mods look the same....it's hard to tell the deterioration of a bushing by a pic. ;)

Excellent

yea...I wanted to go that route, but there are many different areas of the Cobra I need addressing(brakes, suspension, rear-end noise) and I wanted it to be able to get on the track in Octobrer.

Here's how Casper sits now(yep...that's 4" of clearance between the wheels and fenders)....
