12.77 @ 110 mph was what I did at the track the first time out and I guess I am average... :)

Call 1-800-FORD-SVT for your certificate and number.

How about us abnormal drivers? Yeah this old dog is learning new tricks. A good launch and avoiding the red line at the shift points should get you below 13 seconds. At least mid 13's is average. Sooner or later I will get the hang of it, but it is still fun even if the numbers do not agree with your ego.

The car is plenty capable but it's how quick the driver is (among other factors like weather & track prep) that will see the best result. Didn't Evan Smith put a bone stocker at the stripe in 12.6 seconds(12.4 w/a few tweeks I think). Most other folks I have seen are 12.8-13.1 bone stock. Then there's Tony's avg 12.7 :D

I stand corrected. I thumbed through the May 2005 MM&FF & there on pg. 120. It reads:When Mr. Coletti taunted us and said we couldn't run 12s in a '95 Cobra R, we did. When he dared us to go better than 12.90 in a stock '03 Cobra,we went 12.43 at 113-then hopped it up and went 11.6s while the other magazines struggled to run 13.0".
