I was thinking the same thing looking at the shifters position.

the only reason I asked about the gear pattern was because it looks like it is in 5th gear. But, who parks their car in 5th gear? It made me think that it is parked in 1st, but the gear pattern is reversed.

I believe the car was parked in reverse.

If the picture was reversed the 12volt power outlet would be on the other side from the driver, i think??? Plus the AC and radio knobs should be reversed??? I bet it is hard to get use to shifting with your left hand.

If I remember correctly the car was a US car shipped to Australlia and the guy had it converted by a shop in his area.....

whoever did it, did a damn good job on it. I am sure they are used to doing that sort of thing. Yeah, I bet it would be wierd to shift with your left hand. Of course, they probably feel the same about our cars.

I you have passengers in that car, I guess you have to tell them ahead of time not to pull the hood release lever while the car is in motion. At least they moved the headlights to the proper position. I could just imagine how difficult the 1-2 shifts would be. Also the windshield wipers are biased towards the left side of the car so field of vision may be reduced in the rain if you get stuck in it. oops, never mind, it looks like they were reversed as well.

The hood release wasn't moved. A slight inconvenience there... Must be odd shifting with the left hand.
