View Full Version : Looking for Gauge Recommendations for '97

I searched and found a lot of threads regarding '03 & '04 Cobra's, but not much on 96-98's. Can anyone recommend first of all, a boost gauge? Second, what other gauges would you recommend considering I want to monitor important systems since the car will see track duty from time to time? Third, do you think it's best to match the new gauge faces to the current gauge faces? And finally, is it best to get an A-Pillar gauge pod or go with the pod that replaces the clock in the center of the dash?

I haven't seen too many pics of people's setups, so please bare with me!

Thanks for all the advice!

On my 97 I have:

Oil pressure
Fuel Pressure
Exhaust Gas Temp

On my 2003 cobra I have:

Dynojet Wideband Commander (white face)
This guage uses a wideband o2 sensor to give you ACTUAL air to fuel ratio.

If you are only getting 2 guages, I recommend vac/boost and the wideband commander.

Thanks, Josh! I am getting vac/boost and fuel pressure. Next addition will include exactly what you have for your '03...exhaust temp and a/f.

On your '97, are 2 of your gauges attached to the steering column?
