Ask these guys, as they live in Seattle or near by.

I don't know about Seattle, but I know of a place in Vancouver, WA. It's called All Ford Performance. The owners name is Jeff. There's actually two shops in one. All Ford does all the work and installs, and Blue Oval Performance (owner's name is Chung) does the part sides of it. Both own and race mustangs. Very reputable shop, from what I hear. I went to a large all ford show in Vancouver and everybody with modified mustangs had stickers and business cards from there. That's how I found out about them. I've been up there for simple things like exhaust, u/d pullies, timing adjuster, and cai on my old '01. The last time I was there somebody made an appointment for them to modify and tune their Saleen S7!! That's where I'll be going for all my work, plus they do tuning.

The only Mustang-specific speed shop in the greater Seattle area is www.bradscustomauto.com (http://www.bradscustomauto.com) They're a great group of guys and will probably be more than willing to to show your BIL around the shop. One of the shop cars is the 200 mph "Mystic Missile" that was on the cover of 5.0 magazine a few years back. As an added bonus, Brad's is literally right around the corner from the Pierre Ford parts department, so he should be able to find most any Ford bits he might want within walking distance. Brad's is located in the Lake City neighborhood of north Seattle and is two blocks from a major bus line that runs from downtown, if need be.
