ok so i just installed a hitch on my 99 cobra. Now my only problem is that the lights on the railer doesn't work after i installed the wiring. Do you know what each wire is on the cobras tailights? The wires i have are brown, green, green/orange, blue/orange, and i think a purple/something elses wire.

This is how i wired it:
brown-running lights
green-brake lights
green/orange-left turn lights
blue/orange-right turn lights

Did i wire it wrong? Any help would be great. thank you

Left Stop/Turn/Hazard = Light Green/Orange

Right Stop/Turn/Hazard = Orange/Light Blue

Both Sides Park/Side Marker = Brown

Ground (everything) = Black

EDIT: NOTE, I JUST NOTICED THE YEAR OF YOUR CAR. THESE ARE THE COLORS FOR A 1997 COBRA. I BELIEVE THE TURN/HAZARD LIGHTS (AMBER) ON A '99 ARE SEPARATE FROM THE STOP LIGHTS. SO THIS INFO WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU.

When I installed my hitch on the 03, I just bought one of the plug and play trailer light kits. It was like 15 bucks, and just plugs right it, no problems. And I didn't have to mess with any wires.
