That I think that I will just keep the 93 after all......

It has been a few months that my head was just not into it and I thought that it was time to get started in collecting parts again to make it my personal car with some personal touches....

Things that I think I want to do....
-Paint!!!!!(of course)
-New sport seats(The track dog in me.. :D )
-5 lug conversion(with 01 or 98 Cobra wheels plus some track rims)
-New exhaust(headers back)
-Plus what ever else I can think of............................

Any other ideas????

Congratulations!!!

Take your time and do it how you want it!!!
There is no reason why that can't have an extremely fun Track car and Cruiser at the same time!!!

:thumbsup: on the 5 lug!!!--> http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=1791
I would get an extra set of front rotors and a set of front track only pads... bed them in together... just a quick swap out at the track.. and maybe run more of a hi po street pad on the back so you can leave them on for both(that swap is more of a pain... and with less benefits)
I think I would have to recommend some brake cooling hoses as well.

SN 95 spindles???
Lower arms???

I would go 17X9 on the track rims even though they will appear to be too wide on the back... it is do-able... Lot's of street/track double duty cars on CC.com... roll the quarter w/o lip and it's on!!!

High quality SFCs...

Not sure how streetable torque arm cars are... check with Stan... Keep in mind coil over spring rates may play a role in any harshness he may or may NOT have picked up...
No question though his car EATS CORNERS!!!
Not that the driver has anything to do with it.....

Springs or coil overs????............ Hmmmmmm :doubt:

As tempting as a blower may be... I would wait and see if it fits in with the plans you have for the car. A blower car is going to really get warm at a track event... but should be fine for drags and cruising...quite reliable actually if you don't go pulley crazy.

You asked for suggestions.... :p

I can always count on you Jimmy for all the good INFO!!!

That 5 lug conv. is a little pricey but that what I wanted plus rims and tires ..or buy Mikeys for a Homey discount price/lay-a-way...

I will have to get with David on the Suspention setup..It will most likely be a coil-over kit plus a couple of other things that I know will pop up...

You have a sweetheart of a car and I am glad you will be keeping her. :D

If you are going to open track her at times. Please put a roll bar in her, 4 point with harness cross bar and 5 point harness and Install a fire extinguisher.

Safety first.

Safety first.

then upgrade the brakes as that will help you stop better.....safety first, then do the suspension so the car can grip the road better in the event you have to avoid a wreck, then some sticky tires so again the car can grip the road better.....it's all for safety isn't it??? ;)

:p

The first mod was lowing the car just for looks.

Two years later I hooked up with this crew of mad dawgs, SCC SCMC.

After my first track event with SCC at TWS, I got the track bug and the next mods were sub frames, seats, harness, and roll bar.
Then suspension Coilovers, front and rear control arms with a Torq-arm. The Cobra 13" rotors work great so I upgrade to Hawk black brake pads.
All this because of David M. and I have been broke ever sense.

Now I am running the R compound tires and now will need Brembo, 4sure.
