OK, so my check engine light just came on:

PO113 IAT Sensor 1 High input

I understand this to be the Intake air temp sensor. I had the code cleared and the light went off, but it is still in history. I think you can unhook the battery to clear this.

Should I blow this off if the light does not come back on? Get an new temp unit? any experience in this area from anyone?

I have not dealt with that code, but if it comes up again, I would replace sensor.

I disconnect batt over night to clear engine check light, but i do not know if it clears history.

Disconnect battery and depress brake pedal for 15 seconds...

All codes will be cleared... till next drive cycle picks up any "out of range" no nos...

No need to wait over night...

Light came on again. I will order a new sensor and hope that fixes the problem.

Can someone help me. Can someone go and look at their cobra or find in what direction the intake air temp sensor should face. It looks like it can rotate in the pipe and perhaps mine is facing the wrong way. My car has the tab for the harness clip facing up.
