What's the track width difference betwixt (old english) the '99-04 and the '98 Cobra rear axles? Planning to do a IRS into fox and I need to know!

After researching it again for the third time in 3 years, its pretty straight forward. Its not a complete affair, but its pretty close. I now need to find out if I can still use my 98 wheels without going beyond the fenders. Did my pics help (on SVTP) for your emblems?

Yes they did!! thanks..

I thought there was a artical in MM&FF or 5.0 about changing out the rear end to a IRS in a fox body...Have you seen that? I will try to find it and post it up for you...

I have had mouthbreather saved on my favorites for a year or so!!! Mustangs magazine has a current(fairly) article on it with Kenny Brown upper and lower ca's. I think that these are fox specific because the photo with the test fit is actually tucking the 17x8 98 Cobra wheels--albeit without the brakes on (what's that about a 1/4 less thickness?). It is a bit involved but its very straight forward. I already have a 98 Cobra rear end, so the stuff like brake lines and e-brake cables are no big for me. Just the drilling and cutting and grinding, oh my... The deal isn't finalized but I've waited to do this for about 3 yrs.; so if I got to wait longer...

David, have the mouthbreather folks done anything else to the car? I would like to know how it looks from the side, what springs in the back, ride height, etc.
