View Full Version : Hi guys; New Cobra Owner!!

I sold my beloved Boss 351 & purchased a 2003 Cobra. I know the Boss was something very special, but it was time for me to move on to something more modern. And this Cobra... Wow! What a machine!!
I look forward to reading this forum every day. I bought my car in the high dessert in Southern Calif. Original owner, always garaged & only 11,000 miles.
Great car and a great deal. Anybody know what is involved in transferring the extended warranty? Also, she has a 'growling/vibration' from the drive train from about 15 to 30 MPH. Any ideas?
I am an old time Mustang guy, but new to the Cobras.

:) Thanks in advance.

First, I'd like to welcome you to the boards as there is a ton of information on our forums which will help you with your car. Be sure to do a search so you can read what others have posted in the past.

Second, your vibration is a little difficult to diagnose but I would lift the car and try to turn the driveline freely by leaving it in neutral so you can pinpoint any unusual noises. Vibrations can be caused by axle bearings (Most likely culprit), driveshaft indexing, tires out of balance, loose steering or front end components.

Third, we have members in northern CA, would be nice to have some activity going on up there.
