I want to lower my 04 Cobra, but I don't know which spring to use. I'm doing this primarily for appearance. Which is the best way to go Eibach, H&R, BBK, others?

MOJO,

I'm currently on my second 04 Cobra Convt. so I can provide feedback on both Eibach Pro Kit and H&R SS. I think a lot depends on the individual vehicle as well. I had Eibach on my 04 Blk Convt: Great performance; front of the car sat perfect however the rear was too high for me...see below. Pics were taken after 1 year with Eibach on there. I currently have H&Rs on my Mystic Convt: Perfect height both front/rear looks good however performance wise, the ride is softer (little more bounce than Eibach). In addition, the rear sat a bit too low afer adding aftermarket rims...sees pic below. For both setups, ISO was stock and both scraped slightly on speed bumps. My personal Recommendation: Go with H&Rs! I hope this helps....

H&R SS with aftermarket rims: Pretty tight fit but ride height is perfect for me. Good luck!

H&R Sports give a nice drop all the way around, especially on the verts and it keeps the stock ride quality

I am using the H&R race spring set up , totally happy with them ! Pic looks like lower in the rear but it's the way it's parked on the driveway !

I went with H&R Super Sport 51659 and Maximum Motorsports Isolators. Car had a 1 1/8th front to rear rake before, now has a 5/16th rake - close enough to flat for me.

I have been very pleased with the looks and track performance of the setup, would definately do the same thing again
