Amazon (a supporting vendor on here) and Steigemeire do blower porting for the '03-'04 Cobra's. Most people are running 2.93 upper pulleys and 4# lower pullies and are seeing good results. Some have gone with smaller uppers, but it really seems to be maxing/overspinning the blower to go with anything else.

If you have a 2.8 upper, I would leave that one on and get a 2# lower...a 4# would work also, but just leave the upper on and do things around it...

I agree:thumbsup: My 4lb lower is really to much for the ported blower...The only reason I'm keeping it is a Whipple is in the works...

With my minor mods: Stage I port, 2.93 upper, stock lower, and predator tune I have 471HP and 477 Torque. I am adding a 4lb lower next month. I hope to break the 500 HP/Torque numbers with a new tune on the predator.

If you are really considering a lower pulley, you should consider swapping out the stock alternator pulley for a larger diameter pulley. The 110amperage alternator is already getting over spun from the factory and adding a lower will over spin it even more. Metco sells a few various sized alternator pulley to slow it down a bit.

A 2# lower will give you approx. 2 more lbs of boost and the same goes for the 4#...and yes, definitely get a heat exchanger

+1 for the 4lb lower and 2.93 upper people are having great result with that combo. You'll need LDC mod, BAP, Heat exchanger,Dyno tune,MAF extender and Alt. underdrive pulley.
