Just had my 03 Cobra stolen. It was stolen March 23 at approximately 2:30 am here in Houston. It was a planned hit. They cut security camera wires in my complex. It's black, chrome 17'' 03 rims, snake grill emblem, "supercharged" sticker under the "svt" emblem, 4" Bassani exhaust tips, and Texas license plate # 311NDY. That's the exterior description only. Any information leading to the return of my baby or capture/conviction of the individuals responsible holds a $3,500 reward. Please notify me via Message Forum. How can someone steal a vehicle with loud ass exhaust and an expensive viper alarm right in front of my apartment without waking me up? Anyone know how these guys do it?

Sorry to hear of your loss, Hope the police find it and it is still in one piece. In most cases the vehicles are towed (they do not care what gets damaged in the process since most stolen vehicles get chopped ). The only way (but not fool proof) is to invest in lojack tracking system. Problem is if the local police do not support the system, it will not work.

Ausie is right, the pros usually tow the vehicles that they steal. I'd venture to guess that somone who thought ahead enough to cut security camera wires is at least on their way to being a pro.

It seems to me that Texas has been a hot spot for stolen Cobras. Most of the posts regarding stolen Cobras that I have seen have been from Texas. I thought Texans were supposed to shoot enough criminals to deter most of the rest of them! If ya'll aren't, maybe it's a good time to start!

Insurance company says it is a loss now. 15 working days is what they give it to show up somewhere or be found, and the 15 days are up. I'm pissed! I really wanted MY Cobra back. God lets things happen for a reason though. Life will go on, but I'll never forget her in all her beauty!

Car is considered total loss by insurance, so it doesn't matter if it is found now. Reward is no longer available. Thanks y'all!
