I want to install BF Goodrich 'G' Force Sport tires on the front in size 275/35 x 18 and on the rear BF Goodrich Drag Radials in size 295/35 x 18. Anyone have those sizes or see and clearance problems on the front? I have Eibach lowering springs and their front and rear sway (larger) bars.

Do you have 9 inch wheels for the front? If so what size are you running now? 295/35-18 Rear would match up better with a 255/40-18 than a 275/35-18. The 275/35 will have a smaller diameter in comparrison to the 295/35. If you still have the anti-locking brake system, it could pose an issue if it thinks the rear is locking up when comming to a stop and cause a miss-trigger of the anti lock brake system. If all of the tires had the same diameter there should be no issue with the anti-lock brake system. Diameter difference between the 295/35 and 275/35 is 1/2 inch. Compare that to the 295/35 and 255/40 which is 0.1 inch. The 275/35 may or may not cause a problem with the anti-lock but it is possible it will. Total tread witdh difference is close to 1 inch (0.8) between the 275 and the 255. Since the tire size is metric, divide the number by 25.4 to get the width in inches. If you have tires on the 18 now, measure how much clearance you have between the fender and inside areas then compare that to the 10.8 inch width of the 275. The only issue now would be to determine how the suspension changes under load as well as the side wall of the tire when cornering.

The fronts are 18x9's and the rears are 18x10's.

I currently have on the front 245/40's (which is the original equipment height diameter). The rears work without any problem (1/2" taller than original equipment), but because I've done so much suspension work and like to carve corners....want a bit more tread down in the front. The 275/35 is only .10 of an inch taller than 245/40's. Just worried about clearance, lock to lock. Thanks, Ken.

The 275/35-18 will be very close in diameter to the 245/40-18 and the stock tire 245/45-17. Width of the tire will be close to 11". The difference in tread width is about 1.8 inches wider. Expect 0.625" to 0.75" of tire extending out from the side of the wheel. I looked up the tire spec's on the BFG g-force sports and 275/35-18 can fit a 9 inch wheel. You can measure the clearance of the tires you already have and if the measurement is at least 2 inches or greater from the side wall of the 245/40-18 to any part of the suspension or wheel well, you should have sufficient room for a wider tire up front. The other concern is the amount of offset (or backspacing) your wheels have. If the wheels stick out too much in relation to the fender, you may have an issue there as well.
