What's up everyone.

I was wondering if anyone have ever done extensive weight reduction to their Cobras. I tried to search the net for carbon fiber body part replacements like 1/4 panels bumpers, hoods and trunk lids but was only able to find hoods. I figured there must be not a big market out there for Cobra weight reduction otherwise there would a few suppliers out there. Just like to hear feedback and comments on this.

They have carbon fiber hoods, 1/4 panels, roofs, and trunks. Hope this helps.

Add an aluminum block, solid rear axle, and some racing seats and you'll probably be looking at around 300 lbs less weight.

Venomnous99 Thanks for the link but I noticed they only have parts that resemble their racecar and those are fiberglass parts. I was wondering if there is a place that would sell more of a stock shape SVT Cobra parts CF.

JROC that's a great idea but I'm looking for something that would require a bit less work in terms of reducing that weight.

If you actually call them, they make parts that are closer to the stock, and they also come in CF. But as I said, you have to call, and they will send you what they've got. They also have picks of some of the stock looking oieces on the site, and they come in CF.
