made 589hp and 586ft/lbs of torque on a mustang dyno
that was with 17#'s of boost and 17.75* of timing if i remember right.

93 octane, 94 degrees outside and something like 70% Humidity if i recall correctly.

That was the best pull over the course of the pulls it hovered between 569-586 cuz of heat soak.

What model is that? Did you get new cams or anything else done to the engine internally?

Very nice!! I have had mine installed for about a month now and LOOOOVE it!! Way beyond a ported blower!! The power is SICK!! I also went ahead and upgraded the clutch to a Spec 3 and added level 5 halfshafts, just in case! LOL:thumbsup:

its the 2.3 kit.

Yeah its insane. I wish i had never wasted the money on ported blower, i felt no real gain from it and the gains on the dyno were'nt worth the cost. Small shot of gas wouldve been easier cheaper and gave more in return heh.

Im still on the stock drivetrain motor back. Only addition is billetflow IRS brace. <knock on wood>

I recently bought an old coupe 4cyl car im converting. ive decided to take it easy on the cobra and just attend some car shows and do some cruising. No more track fun. I think I scared my wife pretty good when she got sideways in 2nd after some realllllllllllllllllllllllllllly bad wheel hop. So we decided to buy something that we could take to the track and not be overly concerned about wrecking. If we did it wouldnt matter.

Haven't done much price researching on the blowers yet myself....do you mind me asking how much? Also, you would recommend this over porting one? Thanks

I don't know if you know much about Bristol But that is my local track. Everyone say it is 3-4 tenth of most other tracks. Check out my post in the vid section. By the way i have a few more things done to the car besides the Whipple but the motor is still stock with over 80,000 miles on it. It is a daily driver. I drive from Johnson City to Boone 5 times a week

I got the polished one for 3400 from steve at tousley ford. If you want the standard black finish its 2909 shipped to your door.

--60# injectors are a must if you wanna run anything other than 13lbs of boost and even on 13lbs thats gonna be pushing the stock injectors.

--Also look into some sort of pump upgrade, whether it be dual fpdms with gt40's or modified fpdm with gt40's, or a boosta pump. Injectors usually around 350-380 with harnesses new.

--Mass air is a definate must sct just released their new 2600 and 3000 units which seem to be really nice pieces.

-stock clutch wont be long after on 17lbs of boost. Mine held up for about 4-5 months of sporadic use with some flogging in between. Sporadic use i mean about 1-2k miles.

0rangecrush I saw you running at ffw was good looking car:thumbsup:

I put $3800 but i meant $2800.00. Got it from JDM. He also tuned my car. Stock fuel system too.
i've been through three clutches.

Which Fun Ford. I sucked at both i went to this year. I'm just now really learning how to launch this thing. I'm still no go with the weather and air pressure. It was hot in Bristol and i kept doing the same thing. I did keep lowing the pressure but that didn't work.i should have launched a little softer. This last weekend was good though. If not for driver #%$# i would have been around 10.8 or better.

I was at 97% duty cycle on 2.76 with stock pumps.

Also are you using a line lock? If so what brand how hard was it to hook up? Are you on live axle? I was guessing you were since your running pro-stars so guessing you swapped to gt brakes in the back?
I saw you at the ffw in bristol just recently it was so ungodly hot there.
