I have always heard good things about these gaskets I decided to try one. What it is is a small piece of silicone rubber that goes between the shifter and tranny and cuts down on the noise drastically. So for $5.00 I decided what could I lose if it didn't work, $5.00 is all!!! You can order his gaskets by going to svtperformance.com and searching for cobrabob. All you do is remove the shifter and replace the factory messy silicone that is there with this silicone gasket and replace everything back.

I decided that since it was apart I was going to change the tranny fluid with some GM syncromesh fluid. This is supposed to be some good stuff that makes the gears mesh togather better. I have yet to try this because I still need to add 1 more qt to the tranny.
