What places can simply check my A/F ratio? Certain shops want $250 for the use of the dyno and I think that's rediculous!

Check your local tuners around. More than likely they will have some kind of dyno run you could do with NO adjustments, just #'s and A/F readings. Usually you can get around 3 pulls for around $60 or so. I think the $250 is for a tune, just tell them that you don't want a tune just #'s. If it is in fact $250 for some pulls with no tuning involved, move on because that is crazy!!

Tunes are lots more than $250.00! They might be charging that much, but hopefully you can get somebody to hook it up and do a few pulls for $100.00 or so.

Sounds like somebody is smokin' some good crack :p

I'm sure you can find a shop that will let you make say three pulls for 60 to 75 dollars. If you can't you can always buy yourself a wideband and mount it in the car. The LC-1/LM-1 from Inovate are nice units, as well as the Wideband Commander from Dynojet.

Gary,

All you need to do is get Dyno'd with A\F reading like NO 5 OH said. Slater's can do it.

I have not yet...Car did well, though...no signs of oil or water from the pipes and no detonation that anyone could detect, so I'll wait until after Christmas to get a proper tune.
