Have you considered Lowes? Hopefully they will have that drag strip up and running by next year if everthing goes as planned. If not then I vote for Rockingham!!

Sorry but Farmington is 1/8 mile not a 1/4 mile track.

There's not 1/4 mile track at Lowe's and I doubt very serious that their rental rate would allow us to rent it. I don't see us going there in the future unless they come down to earth.

Either Rockingham or Darlington works for us; BOTH are way closer than jackson!

Lisa, just call them up and see when they have availability? I'm sure they are going to have a busy schedule.

Josh,

After their lack of concern for our events, they will have to contact me and issue an apology before we can or will consider going back there. This is about respect and nothing else. For many years, NC/SC members went to Jackson driving the 3 hours; however, the Rock is a central location for our Carolina membership. I had the utmost respect for the Carolina Dragway team but the lack of communication/no communication on their part warrants an apology. Until then, we'll use the Rock as they were very respectful and happy to have us come out. I'm not ruling it out, I do expect an apology first.

Tony

makes sense to me. didnt realize it was so bad. but I am biased as it is much closer for me to jackson then anywhere else. but always willing to make the trip, once I get a new ride. :(

I have no hard feelings toward them, I just want to be treated the way I treat them.

I went to Rockingham yesterday and the layout is much better for a Drag day/Car show set up. For years the NC group had to travel all the way to Jackson, now it is their turn to have it closer. It still leaves Carolina open for a third drag day when the time comes...

ya I went to rockingham years ago and the layout was much nicer and bigger then jackson back then, and this has to be at least 5 years ago. hopefully I will be able to make it up there.

The town has grown a lot since I went there for the Modular Shootout. I don't know if they have any new hotels in town, do you?
