Hi all,
I usually just lurk, but thought I would add a thread. A little background: Dad and I have been building a new engine for my 99 for quite some time...5 years I think. Last month, Dad brought it out to me finished, ready to install. A quick review of my garage led me to say "I'll need more tools, a lift and I don't think I want to risk it". So we took it down to Murillo Motorsports 2.5 weeks ago. She came home today...500 miles break in and then we're on the dyno for a good tune.

Still have some work to do, reconfigure the strut tower brace to fit the supercharger and rework the 4-pt lower brace to fit the new K-member.

While it was apart I had the following done.

Kenny Brown K-member
Billetflow IRS braces
Gords Ford Heat Exchanger
Remote Oil Filter kit
03 Cobra tank and pumps

Its gonna be interesting real soon :)

Yeah, I was sorry to miss the Nats too. We had the car all ready to go and the day prior some family issues came up. Its all good though. I was nicely surprised when a glass plaque showed up in the mail from Tony. I'll catch everyone at the next cruise.

Well I finally got 500 break in miles on the new engine. Had it tuned today. All I can say is wow.

Its hard to read: Numbers as follows:
Max Power: 465 @ 5750 RPM
Max Torque: 477 @ 4000 RPM
Max Boost: 13.4 psi
A/F ratio: 11.7 to 12.7

Time to find some bigger rear tires.
