I have Ford Racing's Aluminum Driveshaft, part# M-4602-J on my '01 Cobra. Fits perfectly and should also fit on your '99.

I have an FRPP aluminum drive shaft in my '96 Cobra, and I also have Moser 31-spline axles with an FRPP 4.10:1 ring-and-pinion gear in the differential. (BTW, that is a real whiz-bang of a setup: it really wakes up the car, especially since it is in-line with an FRPP aluminum flywheel.)

Anyway, it is my understanding that FRPP will change the yokes to suit your setup, and the part below is listed for '96-'98 Cobras and includes a 31-spline yoke:

M4602-J: FRPP 31-spline Aluminum Drive Shaft, '96-'98 Cobra (http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=2980)

It might be that the difference between the above drive shaft and one that will fit a '99 Cobra is merely a matter of having FRPP change the yoke at the transmission side so that it will work for the '99 Cobra application. If not, I don't currently know what the solution would be. :firebounc
