Hey, I have a question if anyone can help. I have a '99 Cobra and
plan on upgrading my stock gears. As far as I know I would basically
need the gears, electronic speed calibrator, and labor. Someone
suggested instead of buying a "hypertech-programmer" in place of the
speed calibrator.

Has anyone done this upgrade on their '99 on up and if so what do
ya'll suggest.

I haven't done it but would be interested in finding out what the group thinks about it.

I would personally get a custom tunable chip instead of the Hypertech.. others have had very bad luck with the limited performance "enhancement" of the hypertech, having it even cause a power loss instead of gain, where as a custom tunable chip can be burnt to accomodate your mods.

just out of curiousity, why are you getting the 3.73's instead of the 4.10's, this is not a flame.. just wondering
