View Full Version : Might sell the cobra!!

Well, I might end up selling the cobra and are just feeling it out right now. As some of you all know my job has gone down hill and the company I work for has taken everything from the employees such as all vacation time already earned, insurance, and most of all $1.00 per hour. I am hoping to get the job at Lowes but will be making less money and would definately have to work 2 jobs just to be able to keep the cobra, but hey I want that job at Lowes so bad it hurts. I should know tomorrow if I get the job or not.
Anyways, I am trying to figure out what would be a good price for my cobra, it is a 2004 Torch red with just over 7,500 miles. As most of you all know it is very clean and taken care of. What do you all think?

Dang, 7500 miles? That should fetch a pretty good number, probably $24+ fairly easily. On the other hand, consider how many more payments you have versus the time you need to put in to keep it...I hope you keep it because you'll never have any regrets and no one else will keep it in such great shape!!

Good luck!

as clean as that car is I would start at 26k and put it on svtperformance. With that low of miles and as clean as it is should get that easy. If you put the car back to stock and sell your stuff could prolly pull same price or maybe little less.

Hate to hear you are thinking about this, but I understand the reasoning.:(

This is an extremely clean car, and not been driven in the rain!!! ;)

I would start at the 26k and go from there, or decide what you absolutely HAVE to have out of it, and add 2-3k for 'wiggle' room.

3rd interview went good today and they gave me a drug test which I will pass with flying colors. So now I need to wait for that and my criminal background to come back and hopefully I will get the job and start sometime next week. I hate to sell the car but if I don't find another job to go along with the lowes job to help pay some bills then I will have no other choice but to sell it.
Brandon, if you read this let me know if Best Buy is hiring.

Actually they are always hiring and they are building a new store which is going to be off of 150 somewhere around lincolnton denver area if I recall correctly. Best buy has some great pay for management people, they start at 45k in my area and I know larger cities the assistants mgr's start around 60-70k.

with 7500 miles you should easily get 25 to 26k not a dime less

Believe it or not I was going to buy my cobra from there as well. Spoke to him several times about a sonic blue one there about a year ago.

I'd be interested, but, you know, its just not the correct Cobra color so I could only offer you $25.00 for it. ;)

Good luck on the job situation. I hope it all works out and you don't have to sell.
