dont go by how it looks. you should have about 1/2 to 1 inch of free play at the peddle and adj how you like it from there.

The best way to adjust it is to jack the car up and look at the TOB and clutch fingers with the car on an in N. The TOB should NOT be spinning (should be about 1/8 play before it starts to spin. Have 1 person in the car and depress the clutch as you look at it and adjust it from there. You should end up with around 1" of free play when you depress the clutch, but don't go by that. When you put that in did you buy the free play spring that goes on the clutch cable by the fork and keeps the TOB off the fingers?
