Hey y'all hope all is going well. Wanted to get some other peoples thoughts about my idea of changing my black 98 cobras car color. I'm honestly tired of black although it looks great when cleaned. The maintnance is a reason why I don't want it anymore. I wanted to go with a color that is dark yet light. I am thinking of gun metal gray. Any ideas or whether or not I should just keep the thing black, or go ahead and do it. I also wanted a color that was not a factory color that yet so it would still set its self apart from other cobras in a way.
thanks for your time and take care

If you are worried about the value then don't do it. Its yours and if you want to change the color go for it.

Im not worried about the value I think this cobra is going to be my 'life car' I just wasn't sure if anyone like my color choice and if so what would be a good color. I want something that is still a little darker shade but also you wont be able to see swirl marks

There are quite a few people who have changed to non-standard colors and color schemes...most have turned out great! There's nothing wrong with going outside the norm...except the ricer stuff!!

I would go with the color you were talking about this weekend.

But Gary I wanted to put a 50 foot tall wing on my car and exhaust tips that are the size of my rims...whats wrong with that?! haha
