Ok...so I will be the uberDork here and amongst all this PS3 talk will ask for advice on Wii games. We have just joined the Wii revolution, and only have Carnival and Wii Sports. Our Wii Play disc is being replaced as it malfunctioned.

Does anyone recommend any particular games so far? Keep in mind I have a 5 and 8-yr-old, but the adults can play other rated games after dark. Suggestions welcome.

Ok....so my friend's just had a party and usually have a karaoke machine going. They didn't have it this time so they went out and bought Rock Band. Looked pretty awesome, think it ran about $200, but it's fun for young and old. Drums, guitar and microphone are included. Here's a pic...

I have the Wii and 3, 7, and 9 Year Olds as you know.
The boy and I like Lego Star wars. They just came out with Lego Indiana Jones.
We also have Mario Cart that Edmond mentioned. Very fun for the whole family. Make sure you purchase extra steering wheels. One of the fun parts is this is the first Wii game that you can play over the net and race people from all over the world or just your friends.
Excite truck is a bit more of an adult (meaning difficult to drive) off road racing game but the boy (7) and I also play this a lot.
Just got the Wii Fit that my wife and kids enjoy. It is the balance board for exercise but you also play games like ski jumping and downhill skiing. They are supposed to come out with new games that use the board such as skateboarding.
We also have rather girlish games like Barbie princess something, and high school musical Karaoke if you are into such things.

Yes I am actually back in town.

That is a 360 sitting there. I think that is what Rockband is connected to. We have Rockband for the 360 and they do have it for the Wii for $169. It is fun for a group to play.
