I have a 98 cobra convertible and want to add lowering springs. If anybody has any suggestions that are cheaper, but just as good as Eibach let me know. thanks.

I put Steeda sport springs on my 97 cobra coupe and was very pleased!!!
Also used their CC plates & Triax shifter.

I have the Eibach Pro Kit...it lowers very well and has a good ride...not ideal for track duty, but nice nonetheless.

Here are some pics:

Ford "g" springs...AKA Eibach pro kit / with poly ISO's. I did not need c/c plates either. It aligned up perfect.

I got the Saleen racecraft springs with Bilstein HD's all the way around. The drop is perfect and rides great. Not too low at all.

Was a little worried though about clearance with my 2000 Cobra R 18" 275/35's all around. Are C/C plates necessary? I can't stand the 4x4 look anymore!
