I'm gonna be doing the timing belt on the SVTF probably next weekend Aug 9-10 and in the need of another brain. I will be doing all the dirty work, will provide all the cold refreshments and food. We will be outside, but under cover from the blazing sun. I just want someone with mechanical knowledge to be there in case I run into something I don't know.

Any takers???:dunno:

I see how friends help friends out.....

I can save about $400 by doing it myself. The write-up on how to do it does not look too hard, I will get the tools needed to hold the crankshaft & camshaft in place. Instructions on how to do it are here:

You don't have a lift, you need to buy new tools you will only use 1 time + we can drink $200 worth of beer. It will end up costing you more than you will save! :p

Where in that write up do you see that we need a lift?? The tools I can get for under $40, and IF you can drink more than $200 in beer, then I'll buy, but you have to drink the WHOLE $200!!!! :p
