I know this is last minute but the vineyard suffered some damage from the hurricane so planning was delayed. If anyone would like to cruise and get away from the latest stress for an evening of relaxation you are more than welcome to join in. Families always welcome.

Now, before Y'All get to Rumoring; -

I started doing detailing for people through Quartermile Solutions on an appointment basis. First Official Client of QMS was a Triple Blk Terminator, next may be a 08 Shelby. :)

Originally this weekend was supposed to be grape stomping fest but the hurricane pushed that event back a few weeks. Unfortunately grape stomping is now scheduled for the 25th , same day as the car show. This Saturday will just be another day in the vineyard. But I am certain anyone who attends will find it peaceful and relaxing. :zz:

I will post the planned route soon.

What’s the name of the vineyard?
How fare away is it?
Where is it located?
How many miles does it take to get there?
When do we leave to go to the vineyard?
How long will it take to get there?
Are we going to meet up some where, then curse together?
Do we bring blankets?
How about pillows?
Do we need to bring chairs?
Is there any shade?
Do we need to get any cheese and crackers?
Will we stop to eat before we get there?
Doing anything afterwards?
Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?

Well?
Are we?
:p :D ;)

The name is Yepez Vineyard. www.yepezvineyard.com (http://www.yepezvineyard.com/)
The total mileage of the cruise is approx. 70 mi.
Vineyard location Baytown.

We will leave Saturday morning at 10:00 am from the Walgreens parking lot on the corner of Beltway 8 and Wilson Rd. 9510 N. Sam Houston PKWY, next to Fall Creek.
Cruise route will be south on beltway 8 to hwy 90, then NE on hwy 90 to JAX Burgers in Liberty TX. approx mi 38
After a delicious JAX burger we will cruise back hwy 90 appox 6 mi to hwy 146.
We will then take hwy 146 south approx 14 mi. to Interstate 10.
Cruise I-10 west for approx 1 mi. to new hwy 99.
Hwy 99 south approx 8 mi. to the Vineyard.

They do have picnic tables. But blankets and chairs would not be a bad idea in case they are busy.
Maybe bug spray and sun screen.
Is there any shade? Not any more thanks to Ike.
You can bring cheese and crackers if you would like.
We can always do something afterwards.
Are we there yet? :bounce:
No :( But we will be soon.;) Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Do you know how the economy will be after this whole bailout settles down??
Prepare to be disappointed: The Bailout of the Century will probably do little to make life better anytime soon for the taxpayers footing the mammoth bill. U.S. News September 29, 2008

Do you know who will be president??
No, but keep up to date here. www.presidentpolls2008.com (http://www.presidentpolls2008.com/)

Do you know if my flight on Sunday will be on time??
Your flight will be delayed. I can feel it.

Do you know how the weather will be in Houston on Sunday??
Mostly sunny, sunrise at 7:16 am, winds ese 13mph, 10% chance of rain. Expect a high of 86. Sunset 7:00pm mostly clear and a low of 70.

Do you know when I will get a raise at work??
If you don’t stay off the forum while at work, never!

Do you know when Larry Frank will actually drive one of his "toys" for what they are MEANT to be driven for??
Chances are low, better chance at rain on Sunday.

Do you know who will go to the World Series....and win??
I do but you may use it for illegal gambling purposes and I do not support anything illegal

Do you know when Edmond's car will be fixed....or CLEAN for that matter??
Again, chances are low, better chance at rain on Sunday.
