I purchased a used Procharger setup from a guy who had it installed on his '99 SVT Cobra. He included everything needed to set it up but I have a couple of questions regarding the stock '99 gas tank and '03/'04 fuel pumps.
I also have a '99 SVT Cobra.

Does the '99 Cobra gas tank have the same baffles as the '03/'04 Cobra gas tank?

Will the 2 '03/'04 fuel pumps just bolt up to my stock '99 gas tank?

What the heck is a "fuel hat" and do I need one?

Many thanks! :)

John

John,

I don't know the answer to your questions, but maybe you could also post it in the Terminator section as those owners might know more about the 03/04 fuel pumps to help you out.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. ;)

I picked up a used '03 fuel tank and all of the goodies that come with it yesterday so I'm now good to go either way.

OK sorry for the delay i was just in one last week to answer your questions in order
NO!AND NO! LOL the tank is the best way to go. if i may i would recommend doing a power wire upgrade to the FPDM (driver module in the driver rear quarter panel) on a 03-04 that fuel system can support up to about 550rwhp with 60# injectors. and about 520rwhp with 42#injectors the wire upgrade will help cary the pumps a little further about 10% more range
Hope it helps sorry i didnt see your post sooner.
Dan
