Don't forget the car show and please invite friends that want to be part of the fun, but do not want to take their car on the track, they can during touring laps if they enter the car show!!!!!!! Also looking for any help with the car show.

Does anyone know if they still prohibit verts without roll bars?

The SCMC requires convertibles to have roll bars. It's both a safety and insurance issue.

Does anyone know if they still prohibit verts without roll bars?

You must have alot of time on your hands. What are you, retired or sumthin'?

My grandson's christening is on the 20th, any chance a Saturday only registration will be available?

The old server and new one we moved to require two different versions of the software required for the store. They are working on getting the store software upgraded and working with the newer version of the software but it is taking a lot of time to do it.

Tony is recommending that registrations be mailed since we are not sure how much time it is going to take to get the store transitioned and operational.

Will the store be open soon so people can sign up? Been checking everyday.

08-19-2009, 10:38 PM
Larry, you can do a Saturday only event or maybe just come in on Friday and do the half day with the Saturday event.

Guys, I apologize about the store but right now we have run into a glitch with the software and we are trying diligently to get it fixed as soon as possible. Until then, please either mail a check with a paper form to Rick or give us some more time. Personally, I prefer the check route but I understand if you want to do the credit card thing.

We'll try to accommodate you as best we can and thanks for being patient.

Hey Dan,
It's not much of a problem but I do believe we charge a late fee but I'm not sure how much that is. Also, if they require a instructor, then that puts us in a bind assigning people especially if we are short instructors.

Glad to see you're going to make it again.

The tech forms and car show forms are up in the first post. Please make sure to download the forms prior to arriving to the event. I hope y'all have a fun time this year!!!!

We're asking everyone that comes to our on track events to sign up on Motorsport Reg and include the club's name in their profile.

Go to www.motorsportreg.com and register as a user and select the SVT Cobra Mustang Club as a club that you want correspondence from.

Hey guys! It was another great weekend on the track. I'm Ryan, the guy with the MINI Cooper. I appreciate everyone from SCMC being so gracious towards the non-club members. The camaraderie was impressive. Thanks again to Lumpydogs for the awesome home-brew, and good luck getting your Cobra back up and running!

I went through my pictures and posted up the good ones. If anyone wants to request a full-size just let me know.

Ok, here are the pics!

Turn 11, the 90 degree between the back straight and front straight. This was early morning on Saturday.

The front straightaway

Some cool cars:

The Lotus 2-Eleven kicked my butt all weekend!

...as did the Radical, no big surprise it was faaasst [when he wasn't spinning out *wink*]

Jayson in his Evo IX showin' off some body roll

He really used his Brembo's...er...Brownbo's!

"Lumpydogs" Jeff was a riot and a great paddock-mate

...right until his oil pump gave out, ouch! Get that Cobra fixed Jeff! This is a shot of the SCMC guys; a real nice group of fellas

Cool GT500 running around

Two Vipers and Darius' track hound Mustang in the brake zone on the front straight

The MINI out there giving all those rear-drivers a hard time. Many were surprised at the cars pace! http://www.michiganmini.org/forum/Smileys/default/evil.gif

Candid paddock shot!

Thanks for looking and Cheers,
