Why not get yours rebuilt?

+1. especially if it's just headgaskets!

That really sucks tho, seeing as how you just recently bought her :(

You have the coveted Teksid aluminum block in your Cobra. It has been used successfully in applications up to 1600 horsepower.
If 600 horsepower is your goal I'm sure you know the hyper plastic pistons need to be replaced along with the rods.
You have a steel crankshaft that will work just fine.
Good luck and please post up your project. I enjoy watching build-ups like yours!

get forged internals, and have fun. You can easily get the hp you want.
