This is the first Whipple 2.9 we tuned on a Shelby GT500. It did very well for the set up. The car made 740hp 678tq @ 17psi on 93 oct. This was the 3rd Whipple 2.9 sold.

I was the instructor in this car before and after the tune. There are no words for the difference!!!  :fordflag: :woot:

And one note on the numbers this was a safe tune for a car running long hard track sessions not a tune for big numbers! The car was smooth, strong and predictable after you guys were finished.
Great Job:hail:

Hey Rick - thanks again for taking the time with me over the weekend.

question - are you the 'Hazman' on Stangmafia that photoshopped my sig pic that ended up in my avatar and the SCMC calendar?

And a big 'Thank You' to Dan and the Pro-Dyno guys for working late into Saturday evening getting the tune right.

Running a road course with a high-power supercharger requires - demands - a SAFE tune. Rick and I can atest to that.

Glad you had fun, I am sorry you missed out on track time dealing with the tune but at least nothing got hurt.

Never been on Stangmafia.:dunno:

Rick -

I'm going to write Evo about the problems I had with their tune - and the improvement with Dan's tune. I'd like to know if you could be available if I need some corroboration on my story. You were with me at 150 when it got a little squirely. There was no feathering of the throttle with the Evo tune. It was bucking - like on and off. Let me know. Thanks.
