I was wondering if anyone knew where i can get a rebuild kit for a tremec 3650 (the transmission out of 01 cobras)

I cant find any parts for it at all. Or any books on it. Also i need a tailshaft housing one of my friends air hammered it trying to get a stripped bolt out and it broke off the piece that holds the shift knob spring(I doubt thats the technical term for it)

Also i was wondering if i could build it to make it handle more power? and if not where can i get a manual transmission that will hold quite a bit of power and has around the same ratios.

Oh and also i may sell the transmission if the price is right. things wrong with it: Tailshaft housing broke, third gear syncro has half of the clutch material missing, and it is completely apart. Every other part in it looks absolutely perfect. so it would be good for parts as they are very hard to find. I replaced my friends transmission and he let me keep his old one so i took it apart to rebuild it. It had no other problems besides going into third gear.

I got a T-45 from these guys, great to deal with and very knowledgeable.

I just did a search for tremec rebuild kits for 3650. Not sure which is the best place to find components. I have heard of D&D Performance.

Many of the web sites may or may not carry the parts you are looking for. Most only list a phone number and "call for parts/pricing" notice.
