I have a 1999 SVT, should I mount the rear end solid or use the rubber bushing? I have noticed that other SVT owners have installed different kinds of mounts to help hold the IRS in place. Please give some info on this. Thanks much

Depends on what you want to do with your Cobra. In my opinion/experience the urethane bushings offer very little improvement over the factory rubber bushings but may slightly reduce wheel hop. I would only install urethane if the factory rubber was worn out.

Delrin solid bushings make a noticeable difference on road racing tracks but increase noise and harshness. A full interior will greatly reduce the noise increase but the harshness is still noticeable, not real bad but noticeable.

Having said that I feel that street only vehicles are just fine with the factory rubber. Drag cars typically swap out the IRS for a solid axle and don't need IRS bushings. Road course only cars typically go with Delrin or solid bushings.

You will have to decide what you want and what you are willing to live with.

p.s. Removing the stock factory rubber bushings is a major PITA.

I hope this helps.
