View Full Version : SCMC/Pro-Dyno Cruise-In -- November 6, 2010 -- Fort Mill, SC

08-06-2010, 09:08 AM
You asked for it and now you got it. The SCMC is planning for a fall cruise-in/dyno day at Pro-Dyno on November 6, 2010. If you missed our spring event, you won't want to miss this one!

This is our last fling of the year before the Holiday season kicks in and we want to finish it with a bang. There is no charge to enter the show or to cruise-in, this is just our way of thanking everyone for a successful 2010.

We do ask for a canned good donation to anyone who comes by to check everything out. In the spring, we collected 45 cans of food and we'd like to double or triple that number. This is the time of the year when things get rough for those that are truely in need of food and shelter.

Dyno pulls will be $60.00 for three pulls including Air/fuel. Any tuning most be scheduled with Dan or Paul prior to the event. Please put this on your calendars (Save the date) so we can have a good turnout. Our last SCMC day was a huge success with over 150 Mustangs and Fords at the event.

As you know, we gave literally hundreds of dollars of prizes away for free at the spring event and we expect to do the same again in the fall. Free food, free door prizes, free awards. Just show up and shine it up for the judges!

Judging starts at 12:00 noon and awards will be given out around 2:00 p.m.

If you know you're coming, please post here with your name and car information. See first post below for an example.

We will have the following vendors there:

Dent Wizard
Tint Wizard
Pilgrim's Inn

You will also be able to buy the "Mustang Dynasty" book with an autographed copy for $40.00, regular price is $45.00.

If you want a data plate done before the event and want to save on shipping, now is the time to let me know so I can bring them with me.

Free prizes include:

Hilbish Ford is supplying Ford Racing goodies

Show award categories are as follows:

Best Shelby
Best SVT Cobra
Best Mustang
Best AC Cobra
Best Ford
Longest distance traveled

Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the event. We blew away our goal of 100 canned goods for the local food bank, the Pilgrim's Inn. We collected 247 cans of food and I cannot tell you how amazed I was that everyone brought a little something to make it worth the while. (One person brought 48 cans of food with them)

We also collected $27.50 for the 50/50 and the SCMC will be adding another $222.50 to that total to donate a total of $250.00 to this local charity.

Thanks to everyone that helped out at the cruise-in which includes:

Pro-Dyno - Dan and Paul
Hilbish Ford - Jon Boy and Aaron
Detail Dave - Dave Eller
SVT Cobra Mustang Club Member - Jason Costa
The PD Cooks - Lori Desio, Chasity, and Carina
