I have had my 99 Cobra for about one year now. I have since had to replace my clutch cable several times as well as my clutch assembly and flywheel. Which was all done at a Goodyear shop. It seems my car is stuck in some sort of my cycle. Every time the clutch cable gets replaced the throwout bearing seizes up about a few weeks later. I have had my throwout bearing replaced twice as well as 2 clutches and recently a new flywheel. Now im starting to hear that notorious sound when my foot is off the clutch of the throwout bearing. at least thats what im assuming. but If anyone has any advice i would love to get this resolved. Thank you.

I had a similar problem with a 94 GT. Seems the bearing retainer was aluminum. When the bearing was replaced only a short time would elapse before the squeal started. Went to the Ford dealer and got the steal retainer...problem solved. This sounds a lot like what happened to me. If my memory serves, the 99 had a t 45 and it shares the bearing retainer made of aluminum...but I am not a hundred percent certain. Just thought I would add that though.
