About two months ago I purchased a 93 Cobra roller from a guy in Raliegh that bought the car as a drag racer. Car is stripped down, but low mileage and in great shape. Some of the parts that are missing are Bumper support, Fog Light support, Seat Belts, rear seat brackets, Engine bay harness, winshield washer tank, Cruise Control setup, Clutch Pedal, Shifterboot and surround trim, the list goes on.

After alot of consideration and looking at the price of parts I bought a GT Vert parts car that was almost complete except for the engine and tranny. I picked up a rebuilt 302, used tranny that I am going to rebuild, New Clutch, New Flywheel, and some other odds and ends. Assembly starts this weekend. The goal is to have it ready by Mustang Week. Just thought I would share with the Club.

Teal is always my favorite color for that year. Hope to see it completed before MW!

There was never a cruise control for the 93 Cobra...but if it was me I would make into a great driver because teal and black is so rare..

Congrats on the purchase

The Cobra is finally all together and running. I still have a little interior work to do, but more focused on getting ready for the track next weekend. The Car still has its Drag suspension under it. I took it out today and ran it through a couple of small twisties around the Lake just to shake her down a little. To put it bluntly the front end feels like I am driving on Marshmellows. I have put the swaybar back on. Do you think a shock swap would fix it or do I need to dump the front springs as well? Whatever I do has to be before Friday Night. Just to add other than the front suspension she runs really good.

Take the slop out by changing out with new bushings, put the sway bar back in, and check the front end out for looseness in the tie rod ends and other suspension parts. Your front end needs to be tight or you will experience things you may not want to experience. :)

Sway bar is back in with new end links.

Pulled the Dash out today to put in a new heater core. After seeing all the hacked up wiring in the Snake. I am replacing the wiring harness. I counted over 50 splices! No wonder my dash fuses have popped a couple of times. No more after this weekend. Lucky I bought a new harness a couple of months ago off another 93.

Will take some pics tonight. Just got the old one out and found the true source of my issues. They had a car alarm hacked into every wire they could find. What is worse is they hacked into the door wiring at the master switch. So I am replacing the Door harness tonight. Should have all wiring issues sorted by early morning. :bounce: Now I just need to find a good suspension for it.
