I'm looking to replace the original belt. The original belt has the following on it: CobraMotorcraft FAZE-8620-CD.
I would like to get an original replacement due to the Cobra designation on the belt.
Any help in locating one would be appreciated.

Did you call your local Ford dealer to see if they have or can get any? That's where I would start.

I contacted the Ford dealer, the part# I mentioned above is out of stock. I tried to special order it but apparently it is not available.
I appreciate your input-Thanks!

You can also try contacting Jim at http://www.performancepartsinc.com/. They keep a large inventory of hard to find OEM specialty parts like Cobra, Mach1, etc.

Looks like Performance Parts has the belt you are looking for but it says to call them for pricing.

I called and they quoted a price of $249.00 that was a little to steep for me.
Thanks for the input!

I thought it might be pricey as most of the early Cobra stuff is no longer in production. I would save the original belt and get a parts store replacement.

Ridiculous! I'd do what Jimmy said to do. If you want it for shows, then just swap it out the day before the event.

The belt with the words "cobra" on it was never available from Ford Part department.

Also the lower radiator hose with the word cobra on it was never available with the word stamped on it.

both items were DAP only parts.

I have a few NOS lower hose stamped Cobra and one used removed from a one day old 1994 Cobra belt, and NOS 1994 dated wires.
