Welcome, Jimmy, glad to have you come on out and play with us! We have had a long discussion with Mother Nature about her behavior :-)

Hi Jimmy and welcome aboard our club. I'm sure you will enjoy every event.

Welcom Jimmy. It was nice meeting you Sunday, even though you got 1st. :) There seems to be a lack of push rod motored Cobras that hang with us, me being the lone push rodded motor. It will be nice to have another "old technology" motor around.

Good to see you found your way to the website Jimmy. Welcome. Hope to see you out again soon. Take care.

Yeah man. I look forward to meeting up again. What's this about Red lobster?

09-17-2002, 11:39 PM
every sat. night @ red lobster (I-45 north in the woodlands across from the mall) a bunch of cars (mostly classic i think) meet up and just hang out in the parking lot.

09-18-2002, 08:39 AM
Hey guys, they have moved down the freeway a bit to the parking lot next to the bowling alley, same side. And it is mostly old muscle. Have you all tried out the Street Meet in the parking lot at Greenspoint Mall under the big sign next to the freeway? It used to be up here on Kuykendahl but moved there. It was pretty good last summer, lots of muscle, all years. Free to show no prizes or $2 to get in. I think most of the Cobras and Mustangs in the area are headed up to Ennis this Friday to play.

You are right! You're the lone pushrod motor owner in the SCC region. :( Not a problem though, you own one of the most desireable cars in the Cobra history. ;) Wish I owned one!

I know a few more 93's in houston ill see if i can get them signed up. Now if there was a class for 93 only it would be a diffrent story lol i dont need the competition the 94 pace car is enough. Thank god for new wheels (inside joke).

09-18-2002, 12:54 PM
The new wheels look like a$$.. Kidding, they look good, and look at what they got you.. :bounce: :D

09-18-2002, 03:12 PM
Ah, Darrell, you'll just have to clean your wheels better next time :D

Ahh, thanks... :D
It is a great car and I love her... I even gave the mod motors a run on the last dyno, I was the only one who left happy:D :bounce: Now to keep the miles down, as she has 114k+. I see more 00R Cobras than I do the Pace cars. I plan to keep her for the next 10 years, at least, hoping to have foresight. Wish I would have bought a 7 year old Mach 1, Boss, Shelby or GT vert back in the 70's cheap. Learning from mistakes.
