I NEED to know how many of you would actually participate in a SCMC Track event if we held one in Texas next year. There has to be enough interest before we can commit anything, and everyone's been looking at the SC Region b/c it's growing so fast. Not sure when or how much it'll be, but for right now if the price were right, how many of you would commit??? Let's start the list of people who'd go:

1. Mike
2. Edmond
3. Andy
4. Stan
5. Darrell??
6. David??
7. Joe
8. Nancy
9. Poolman
10. David
11. Bart
12. Jim

Let's hear from you one way or the other, I want to get a feel for what people would enjoy doing. Thanks a bunch.

Mike,

Of course, as you probably have already figured out? I AM IN!

The R should be back in shape soon in time for next year's track events! Yummy!!:bounce:

Edmond, as we all want it to be as cheap as possible, we need to get a bunch of people to spread the cost and cover all the ends. If there IS enough interest shown by the members here, we'll nail down a date and invite everyone, MCOA, SVTOA, FordPower, Stangnet, etc. to come out and enjoy in the fun. We don't want it too big, too big = less time on the track; but we want it big enough so everyone can afford it, learn from it, and enjoy the weekend.

I think it would be way cool to do a track event. Price will definatly be a factor, also prep moneys as Andy stated before will also be a factor. I would attend if the price is not tooo high.

Darrell,

The cost should not be over $300.00 for the weekend, probably $280.00 depending on the number of people interested. That's for two days, not one.

If I'm back in a Cobra by then, I'm in. We'll start looking for another in March, if I haven't ordered 1 by then.

Poolman,

What are you doing in this forum? You don't belong in here, this is just for us Texans.....lol. Oops, forgot I live in the SE with you. Anyway, what's this Paul's stuff you getting? :bounce:

Full Paul's 03 selection. New s/c front plate with additional 5 lb boost pulley, new belt to keep smaller pulley from slipping, custom chip, custom air inlet and s/c polished inlet, and large oval bore throttle body. Also includes a new intercooler heater exchanger (larger) with fans to keep the beast a little cooler. I've got everything in a box in the garage...want to get 2500 miles on the car before taking it apart. Also got full Bassani with cats. I want to dyno before and after, but after Drag Day I'll probably get to it. Really need to break the car in a little before running it too hard. hehe

Everything a growing boy needs. :D

I am leaving for Charleston in a few minutes, going to hs football game and be in Jackson at 9 am Sat... yall be careful out there.
