I am just beginning to use my new capture card and software from Pinnacle, and did a video from our last outing (Drivers Edge) at TWS weekend before last.

TWS 2.9 mile road course tour video (http://mustangers.daltindesigns.com)

Click on the "TWS..." file using the RIGHT CLICK MOUSE button to do a "SAVE" on your hard disk. I posted the file in a suitable format for DSL and faster links, so it is close to 6 megs large. If you are on dialup, you will have to wait a while. :(

Let me know what you guys think? I figured this might be educational for those of you who have never done any open track events and/or have never been to TWS.

Andy, I replied to your email about this. When you are ready, I will transfer this to the SCC official website and set up the page to present it properly...

btw, awesome video  only thing I see is that the end you get kinda cut off speaking.. but thats extermely minor...

I will be making some changes to make this thing better and will send you the finished product when I am done. Do you want me to have different versions available for different speed links? It is pretty easy to save the file in various resolution speeds.

that's a great idea Andy, one for 56k and one for Broadband is preffered. Well tag them with Low quality/ High quality so everyone can have a chance to see the video..

I know I will be studying it to make my trip to TWS more enjoyable..

(Btw, nice driving on you and Joe's part  )

Thanks guys! I will be making some changes to the video before we post it on the SCMC web site. I will download a picture from TWS's web site of the track map and place it inside the video at the beginning. I am also thinking of using it at each corner so you can see where the dot (your car) is at each point in the lap.

You guys who have never been to TWS and/or have never done any open track are in for a real treat!:bounce: This stuff is VERY addicting. Just ask AV8R?!

We will have some good instructors available for our event so that you guys can learn from the best and be SAFE while doing it. You will be seeing some threads from me in the coming weeks which will be aimed at preparing all of you for this event. We have alot to cover before the event, especially in the way of safety.

by the way... in case anyone is interested? I just posted another file on the same web site - this time the video is minus the narration and the music.... so you can hear the roar of the R! It sure does sound sweet at full throttle! :) :bounce:

WOW... Great video Andy! That brings back some very good memories especially turn one! I was set up wrong and spun out at 115 mph...It took me a month to clean the grass from car and my teeth :D

Thanks for the video,

Thanks for a great series of videos Andy. I would much rather run fast through the curves than in a straight line with my car. :D
