The forum was down today so I'm assuming we were responsible for crashing the server or something! LOL!

Those pictures are awesome John. Have you seen the AI web site? Jim has posted more pics there.

That was on Sunday so he wasn't there. :)

I actually think we were yelling for everybody. I can distinctly remember a few shouts for Hoover and Will during that race.

As John would say "WOOD !!!"

It looks much better in motion. Not tooting my own horn but I am VERY proud of the job on the car this winter!!! My buddy that has been coming to the race with me is the one who painted my car . Jay Ford is his name and he has been painting cars since he was 17. Dan Schlickenmeyer's car was also painted at his shop. I would be glad to refer any of you guys that would like to chat with him about a paint job. He will be at most of the races with me " I HOPE!!!" He is great help!!!
Also Tom you and John did a great job on John's car this winter especialy the cage!!

He was, as he say's " Sucking it in."

He is one heck of a guy, we enjoy seeing him at each event!!!
He doesn't mind seeing us ( Well Amy) either!!!
;) I think it's the goodies!!!

I think AI is getting a great following and I would like to post a pic of THE BOSS! If not for this guy AI might have died lately!!!
His hard work goes unnoticed by most but man does he do a GREAT job!!!

Dan is doing a fabulous job. But he said I can't participate if I paint my car yellow. That's why the next banana will be an unmentioned mystery color.

(I know he was just kidding. But 2 Chrome Yellow AI cars is enough.)

Will's ride with Brian Smith's in the back round. I have to say our guys have been VERY busy over the winter. I think we made a VERY good showing over the weekend!!! Even with us missing 5 or 6 of our regulars. So our feilds should be 20 or more by mid season !!! GO AI !!!!

WOW!! All I can say is this winter I'm going to have to build one for me! I can't let you guys have all the fun! Looks like everyone did a great job on their carsand congrats to all! :D

Dan is a class act. I don't know how many times I went to him this past weekend for advice. I hope he gets his car ready for Beaver Run. Don, how about beating the bush and get some locals out to the track(Beaver Run). It would be great to have a CROWD at that event.

John, looks like you had a great time. I don't know the history behind this thread, but I guess you just got started in AI racing? I would like to know what this takes and what kind of cars you can run. I believe I read about NASA in a hot rod issue not too far back? Maybe we could chat about this sometime.

Already on that John...I had a local copying company print me up some very nice copies (thanks Pantas) of the AI schedule. They are hanging on the front windows of the local Advance, A&A, Pep Boy's, and Federated auto parts stores in and around State College!! I have a few more to get out and about...gonna let everyone at the local autox know about it this weekend. I'll do my best to get people out there!!

Anytime Tim. I guess you would run a GM model? We need more Gm's in the series.

That was a fun weekend for the most part. john and I both started in the back on Sat in the rain b/c it was our first race. I went off at the kink , sideways, and lost my clutch. With it being wet, there was no point for me to be in the way , so I came in.

Sunday, started 13th and worked up to 2nd in class and I think 2nd overall. On the last lap, my engine busted and stuck a rod thru the oil pan. Still finished 3rd in class somehow. But I am done right now. Don't know when or if I will do anything with the car. Still may try to go to BR to see everyone.

Ok, I've been trying to post for two days now, it's VERY slow, but at least it's working now.

Congrats to you guys, looks like a sweet weekend. I wish i could have made it down.

That #17 looks pretty good in Hazzard Orange...is #01 still available? ;)

Anyway, you guys can count on having me as a crew member whenever I can make it to an event. I'm happy to help out wherever I can. Besides, spending the weekend working on Mustangs is what I do best!

John, curious what your power and weight was for this first event, unless that CLASSIFIED.

Guys,

I don't know what happened to the thread. I don't think it was deleted (at least not by me :) ). Maybe Rich can answer that question.

John, those shots look awesome. I may copy a couple of them and get Rich to put them in the members car section!
