CAR. Not just a car, but a '64 1/2-'69 Mustang. If anybody runs into one, at a meet or something, please get me a name and number. Doesn't have to be running, but body in good shape. Thanks guys.

I can't speak for the owner (esp since between my brother and step father the point is debatable), but I know of a 68 Mustang convertable that is sitting unused in a garage. On 4 flat tires, crappy cheap paint job, non-orginal 5.0 from a lincoln (I think) and hasn't been started in at least a couple of years. Needs a lot of work and I am not sure if it is for sale, but I can ask if you are interested.

Are you looking for one to restore? Or a driver? Do you want a vert, fastback or coupe? How much $$ are you looking to spend?
Here's one: http://westsidemustangs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19716&sid=2f01f456ad6cf56d74116c7aca2e29a8
I'll keep a look out for one and get you the number.

Thanks for replies. Yes Bartman01, if it wouldn't get you into trouble for asking please do. I know how some guys feel when asked if their unfinished "project" is for sale. Darrell, I've always wanted a fastback. I think they are getting hard to find, so I don't want to limit myself. I don't want one that's already restored as the price would be high. Then I don't want one in need of full restoration. Somewhere in the middle, price range of 2500-5000. Thanks again!

The guy that lives a few doors down from me has a 71 Mach 1 Modified 351 Cleveland says he wants $8000 however, if you had cash in your hand I'm sure that would talk.
I have seen the car for the last 3 years and can give you the information I know.
Here is his email and his name is John
Good Luck

Thanks White Snake, I'll keep it in mind. I would like to have one 69 or older. If I can't find one that peaks my interests, then I may take a look at that one. I want to know what Bart comes up with. Sounds interesting.

Haven't forgotten, just been really busy (got less than 3 hours sleep last night). Don't really know if the car is for sale yet, but I know my Mom would like to get it out of the garage :).

No problem. I'm in no hurry. Plan on taking my time looking for one. Thanks Bart!

I asked my step dad about the car, and after he finished looking at me like I was crazy he said something along the lines of "maybe if the money was right". That tells me that he has some plans for it eventually.

Thanks Bart. Maybe it will get him to start soon. That's about what I expected, guys don't like to part with their projects. Unless it's a must. I know the feeling. Again, thanks for asking.
