OK, I'm invading the Carolinas next Friday. My kids fly in from Germany around 4 pm, I'll most likely stay out there that night. What the heck goes on out there other than cow tipping and running shine?;)

I'm guessing it's a 7 hour (or so) drive...Dave, Tony, what'd it take you guys to get out here? I'm most likely leaving that morning right after work, but need to know if I need to leave a bit early.

Adios, and Beware! BWAHAHAHAHA!

HA! If that's the case, they're in for a weird summer! I'll probably be up for eats, depends on how the kids feel, 4pm is 11pm where they're used to. Knowing my son, he'll be up for some chow in his sleep.

Pro'lly 40, and fast. I just remembered you guys are an hour ahead. Better find me a radar detector....

looking at the map at the bottom of this page, what would be the reason NOT to take 74 across from 26 instead of all the way down to 85?

74 is a 2 to 4 lane road with stop lights, but many people use that. I think i would use 85 to make the best time.

Jeff, thanks, that route looks better also. 74 is out, 321 is in.

Yeah, I need to make decent time. Maps estimates the time at roughly 6.5 hours, I'm shooting for 5.5....hehe!

Talked to the "Courduroy Racing" group, most likely he might make dinner also....the punk!
