Unfortunately, you are not supposed to adjust the ide as the computer does that for you. Are you having a problem with the idle in your car as in too low? :doubt:

It barely idles, i checked today and a new idle motor is $85, can you take them apart and clean them to do any good??

I've never done that, but if I were a betting man, I'd say you cannot take the idle motor apart.

Hey Kris, I'm in Knoxville, too. What color Cobra do you have? I'll be in a white 95 and give a wave when I see you!

Sorry, been on vacation in VA. Just getting to this. You may just need to clean your mass air. Check the links below.

Thanks for the input much appreciated, I think I have found the problem. A leak in a vaccum hose.

Thanks again,
Kris

What kind of MPG do you guys think I am getting? I know its not super great or anything, but I'm just curious. I'd say between 15-18 city and maybe 22 on highway? What do you think?

My 94 gets exactly what you stated.. 16-18 in the city and 22-24 on the highway. ;)

That is on par on what I get on my Vert, most times around 17-18 city and 23-24 hiway. This is with 3.73 gears also.

We drove to Virginia last week and got 19 city and 22 highway (70mph) with the new 2.73's.

On a side note...I picked a side road to cross the mountins from Virginia to West Virginia heading towards I77. Got on route 250 at Staunton. Va and headed west. That road would give the Dragon a run for it's money. Same type of curves with some good elevation changes thrown in.

Hey 69scj, Which hose had the leak? i think one of my smog pump related hoses has a little leak and is causing me some idle issues...

STU, do you mean 3.73?
