For the all Ford portion of the show is this going to be open to all Ford owned brands. A friend of mine had his 5.0 powered Volvo on display at the Ford 100th anniversary celebration and would like to attend the show. His position on this is Ford now owns Volvo, Ford claims all total Volvo production in their total numbers now, plus the car has a Mustang engine and transmission Here's a pic of his car

Several of the guys on HPT that aren't real regular posters are active in the Lakeway Mustang club and could probably help get some more turnout.

cobrabitn

Rick,

The rules are right on the front page of the website for anyone who attends our shows.

On a side note...... SVT will be supporting this event through raffle and goodie prizes. :) They always give us a lot of stuff.

I'm going to try and get some more stuff from a few other SCMC vendors.... ;)

Greg,

Do your guys over in Asheville know how to get to Ted Russell Ford? Um, they do know how to go somewhere on their own, don't they?

We expect to see a lot of Asheville members there. The dealership is going to be raffling off some really cool prizes and we have tons of stuff to raffle off too. Everything is a "go", all we need is some nice cool weather!

Need for Speed will be doing some gift certificates too. As they are in the mail today.

Rich, I'm all for leaving earlier!

Here's a pretty critical issue that I am not 100% on. Is the show at the Walker Springs or the Parkside Drive location. I had thought it was Parkside, but it is starting to sound like Walker Springs

It's the Parkside Dr location for the show like it says on the registration from I believe???:doubt:

It is the parkside drive location, take the Cedar Bluff exit (I think)

Everyone that is going down Friday night plan on meeting at the hotel about 7

Ted Russell had a quarter-page ad for the event in Section A of the Knoxville Sentinel this morning (second to last page of the Section). I was surprised to see it. It was a good looking ad.

What time are most folks getting there? Anyone going for the 8:00am opening?

The Parkside Drive location has a lot of space, so there should be plenty of room.

EDIT: It is less than a quarter-page ad, but it still catches your eye!

We are alsoo going out to eat Friday night if you want to join us. Just be at the Microtel at 7:00 pm tomorrow night.

I was there, but not in the Cobra. I brought the Mach 1, which I parked a few rows over at the end - way out of the way.

My wife and I were there for a good while, but didn't know anyone from this board...wish we had!

I thought it was a great turn-out! A lot of people and cars to see. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Hey everyone.

I was the Blue/white striped soft top AC Cobra. Nxt to the Daytona one.

Thanks for the great time. Your club did a great job in putting on the show. Ted Russell is a great place to have one, as he helps out in the community.

Met alot of great people that hopefully liked me aswell.

Got my first trophy ever. Heck yeah!

Signed, poorest Cobra owner alive :)

Coil99,

All you had to do was come up to the tent and that was all of us. Just introduce yourself so we know who you are!

Glad you liked it...
