I have a 97 Cobra with mods of: o/r h-pipe, 4:10 gears and Borla exhaust.
My friend has a 2000 GT Stang with mods: MAC Prochamber H-pipe and flowpath exhaust.

He says he probably producing about 300 horse's....
What do you think????

WHO WOULD WIN????
AND HOW MUCH HORSEPOWER DO YOU THINK HE REALLY HAS ON HIS GT???
I know there stock horsepower is 260 but I don't know the actuall flywheel power.

The cobra will walk away from the GT. I'd say, even if the cobra were stock, it would still walk on the GT. I believe with the mods on both cars, there's really no chance for the GT to hold the cobra off. I do think that if the GT got the jump, it could probably hold off the cobra through the 1/8 mile, but the horspower, and gear advantage would put the cobra confortably ahead of the GT by the end of the 1/4. Equally driven, it should be an easy victory for the cobra.

Your estimated hp is 282 vs. the GT to be around 265. Get the jump on him and temm him "buh bye" :)

To give you a refernce, my 99 Cobra has steeda underdrives, WMS CAI, MAC OR pipe and put out 289 rwhp. Add some underdrives, and a CAI and you will dust him!
