I am interested in getting a "real" rollbar installed on the vert.

After the track event I am feeling a bit naked overhead.

I went and spoke with John Gee at his shop on Gessner and had some subframes installed.

The guys at the shop stated that we could get a decent price brake if a number of mustangs wanted to get the same setup.

I am thinking of a 4 point bar with a diagonal brace and cross brace for a harness, purhaps a lower brace along the seat to tie in the front end.

I am not in any hurry, but just wanted to see if anyone was interested, or knows of other shops that could do this type of work.

So Henry, did the subframe connectors make a difference? Also great job getting the rollbar ball rolling. :D

damn quick reply.

Subs do seem much tighter. Hard to tell with my crappy tires bumping me all over the road.

hey, how do you get a photo in your signature?

click on http://www.svtcobraclub.com/svtbbs2/images2/top_profile.gif (http://www.svtcobraclub.com/svtbbs2/usercp.php?s=) then click "Edit Profile", and in the "signature" portion, either link the hosted pic with [ IMG ] command just like you do in a post or use HTML... IE <img src="http://www.wehostforyou.com/mydoperide.jpg" width="1980" height="7858" alt="My Car">

Totally lost.

How do you use the [IMG] comand?

Please provide an example if you have a jpg image on your hard drive that you want to add.

You cant use a picture on your hard drive... it needs to be hosted online. If you don't have that capability, email me the pic firme@houston.rr.com and I will host it, then walk you through it.

While a rollbar is definatley in my future, I have neither the cash to do it or the desire to tear up my car's interior just yet. I only see open-track duty once a year :( and until I get out of school and have a "real" job, I won't be putting too much money into my Cobra. :( Good job on the hook up Henry!!
